Back in California…
Crescent City to home, but there was still a lot to see. From Crescent City, drove south attempting to find our way to Elk Meadows and take some pictures of wild Elk… unfortunately there weren’t to be seen. Did a quick hike while we were here in the meadows, but quickly decided to head out (it was cold, and I was hungry). Drove along Avenue of The Giants, and were taken away by the vast size of the trees.
On the way we did one of the drive through trees, where you drive your car through the base off a redwood. It was a pretty tight squeeze, but we were able to get through. Stopped in Marin for some In and Out and made it home. Overall a quick and short day, but was nice to get home and see my amazing wife. Nice trip out with the dad, hope to head out there again, and head out on a new adventure soon. Travelled - 382 Miles.
